Abstract:
The temperature dependance of spectra and pulse shapes of gain-switched DFB laser diodes is investigated.
Spectral purity can be tuned from a Fabry-Pérot-like multi-mode spectrum to dynamic single-mode behavior by
temperature adjustment.
