Leibniz Technology Transfer Association Microelectronics
The Leibniz Technology Transfer Association Microelectronics bundles the research and development of several Leibniz institutes in micro and optoelectronics and microsystems technology, and initiates application-oriented cooperation with companies.
The association currently consists of ten Leibniz institutes with a core research focus in microelectronics and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf as external partner. The access for further Leibniz institutes is possible at any time.
The Technology Transfer Association enables the involved institutes
- to coordinate their research topics,
- to align research results to the needs of companies,
- to create a joint added value,
- to communicate research and development,
- to achieve a demand-orientated cooperation with companies and expand into new markets.
Thus, the Technology Transfer Association offers companies the possibility
- to achieve a quicker overview of the existing competencies of the institutes,
- to enable a more targeted contact to a suitable research institute,
- to cooperate demand-oriented with research institutes,
- to facilitate the expansion into markets which previously have been out of reach.
The Leibniz Technology Transfer Association is coordinated by the headquarter of the Leibniz Association: Dr. Lutz Essers, phone +49.30.206049-17, essers(at)leibniz-gemeinschaft.de.
