6th Girls' Technology Congress 2015
October 9th, 2015
“What shall I do now? I have no soldering iron at home!” said a student after a two-hour workshop in which she had eagerly soldered electronic components. Obviously the participants of the 6th Girls’ Technology Congress had so much fun that they didn’t want to stop. The meanwhile 6th Girls’ Technology Congress Berlin-Brandenburg with special focus on photonics was held on October 9th.
125 girls from 7th to 12th grade enjoyed the photonics show with colorful physical and chemical experiments, the role-model presentation and 12 fascinating workshops with hands-on experiments. Three of the workshops were offered by GoPhoton! partners from Barcelona, Brussels and Galway (in English).
